Tried the new gukbap (rice porridge soup) spot nearby— their chabssal nurungji dwaeji gukbap (pork bone soup with glutinous rice crispy scraper) was incredible!Picture this: rich, milky pork bone broth simmered for hours, loaded with tender pork chunks, green onions, and sticky glutinous rice bits. The nurungji (crispy scorched rice crust made from glutinous rice) adds this amazing nutty crunch and extra savoriness that elevates the whole bowl. Side dishes too: radish kimchi, pickled daikon, green chili, sesame salt, and red pepper paste for that customizable kick!Perfect winter comfort food—the nurungji soaks up the broth and makes every spoonful richer. Already planning my return. Korean soup lovers, have you tried this style? 🥄
