The most surprising thing for me while traveling in Korea was that when you order a main dish at a restaurant, there are so many complimentary side dishes served alongside it. It’s not just one or two. Each one even has its own unique flavor! I couldn’t believe it was all free! I wonder how many types of Korean side dishes there are—probably over 100, right?
