Korean Late-Night Dakbal with Coolpis

Had my fave dakbal (spicy chicken feet) as a late-night snack! Longtime favorite spot. Kid me couldn’t handle their mildest spice level, but now as a level 1 loyalist, I’m fully obsessed 😂

Menu stars:

  1. Grilled Boneless Dakbal: Fiery red, addictive sauce + chewy collagen with savory richness. Keeps me coming back!
  2. Dakbal Fries: Crispy batter hugging seasoned chicken feet = MIND-BLOWING. Even shape haters might convert!
  3. JamJam Rice (DIY onigiri): Rice + seaweed flakes, fish roe, mayo. “JamJam” = baby’s cute fist-squeezing motion for perfect balls 🥺

Steamed egg + Coolpis (peach soda that saves spice cowards like me—perfect with tteokbokki too). Late-night perfection… dakbal = 0 calories, right? 😋

You might think it’s just regular Korean fried chicken, but Dakgangjeong is a whole different ball game. First of all, it’s completely boneless, making it dangerously easy to pop into your mouth

It seems like in Korea, fried chicken often has a slightly spicy batter. It’s savory and a bit spicy at the same time! I think that’s the kind of flavor that makes…
