With the Lunar New Year holiday here, I found myself thinking of the meal my grandmother used to prepare. I even found a photo of her table: vegetable fried rice, stir-fried anchovies, soy-braised beef, seasoned radish, grilled croaker, soy-braised chicken, and seaweed soup — the taste of nostalgia.
