I had some squid in the freezer, so I decided to make fried squid. I cleaned it thoroughly, removed the innards, sliced it up, then coated it with seasoned flour, batter, and breadcrumbs before deep-frying it. It turned out incredibly crispy! It’s also nice and crispy if you just use the flour and batter without the breadcrumbs, but I personally prefer the version with breadcrumbs.
