As a foreigner living in Korea, I’ve tried so many amazing dishes, but I always find myself running back to Tteokbokki. My absolute favorite type has to be the rice tteokbokki because the rice cakes are just so delightfully soft and chewy compared to the wheat ones. Pair it with some fresh green onions and fish cakes like in my photo, and you have the most perfect, comforting bite every single time!
